Super athletes!

26th June 2016 By lauraliddell

24/6/16 – Well done to Riley, David and Bethany for getting to the Athletics County finals last week.  Unfortunately, David was away so couldn’t attend the event but well done for qualifying!  Both Bethany and Riley were a credit to Bloemfontein and did themselves proud.  Bethany came a respectable 8th out of 12 in the Shot putt – she is definitely one to watch in Year 6 next year!  Riley came 2nd overall in the javelin and 4th in the 800m.  I am sure he will continue to be a sporting demon in the NDA next year – good luck!  Thank you also to Mrs Heslin for taking the children to the event.

Easter activities

17th March 2016 By lauraliddell

Bring in your eggs to decorate on Wednesday 23rd March – make sure they are hard boiled or it could be a disaster!!!!  The children will decorate their eggs in school and we will judge them on Thursday.  Parents are invited in to school on Thursday morning to vote and there will be a special assembly at 2.30pm to announce the winners.  There will also be a grown up prize, so parents get your ‘Mister Maker’ heads on and show off your creative skills!

We will as always be having a chocolate raffle – any donations would be much appreciated!

Good luck to all children, parents and staff!
