Today a man from Groundwork North East came in to do some outdoor activities. These included: Shelter building, creature making, 3D picture creating and making smores (these are gooey marshmallows and chocolate buttons sandwiched between biscuits)
In the morning the first thing we did was make a creature using natural resources. The next thing we did was make a shelter for the creature. After that we went on four or five hunts for some interesting things. Then we got into groups and made dens that had to fit us all inside!
After lunch we made a picture frame using twigs and wool. Next we created a picture to put inside our frames. Following this we painted pictures using mud. Finally we made smores – they were delicious!
It was a brilliant day!
