Hello my name is Jeanette Robson and I am one of the Parent Governors at Bloemfontein. I am a busy Mum of two daughters, who both attend the school and I also work for the NHS. In my day job as an Occupational Therapist I work with a range of different people to help them to maintain and improve their health and wellbeing. I like to think that as a Governor I am doing a similar thing. I see part of the role of being able to make sure our children are safe and happy at school. After all, we know that our children learn better this way.
I enjoy my role as Governor and feel proud that I am contributing toward the future of our children. The role includes attending meetings and events and helping to make decisions about the day to day running and future of our School, the health and wellbeing of our children while appreciating the strong sense of community within our village and classrooms.
I currently serve on the following committees:
- Every Child Matters
- Hearings / First
- Link Governor for safeguarding
